Easter Eggs
Oh the wonderful dying of Easter eggs. To be honest this was the first time we had ever done this and it was so fun! We went over to Uncle Garth's and Aunt Brooke's house and had all our Easter festivities with them and family friends. All three kiddos dyed their own egg with their names on them. A new tradition for Easter.

A Windy Day
I wonder if you kids will remember these windy days, when the wind would ring our ears and push dust deep in them. When the wind would make the fence blow down and when the wind would make us all grumpy and crazy! So kids this what your mother would do on a windy day first bath is a must, then a good muffin tin dinner and a good movie! Then early to bed with dreams of blue skies and not brown muddy ones.

So in case people are wondering yea I do realize was about a year ago but I really wanted to journal this amazing trip. Last summer after Kelton was done with Step 1 we planned a vacation for just the two of us! We flew into California and rented a car and drove. We only had two hotel reservations, our starting spot(San Fransisco) and our final destination(Seattle). We had so much fun and did so many fun amazing things. We hung out in San Fran for a couple of days then started driving north and stopped in northern California where Kelton served his mission. I was able to meet some people he served with and got to see one of his apartments and the chapel where he was first dropped off. We then drove up the coast all into Oregon and made our way to Seattle. We saw Paul Bunyan, beaches, Redwood Forrest, Tillamook Cheese Factory, Oakland Temple, caught two baseball games, went to Pikes Place, golfing, visited good friends, went to the Roloff farm, ate a lot of great seafood and most of all got to be a couple instead of our many other roles we have at home.
Our seven year anniversary was this past May 4th so I really wanted to posy about our trip. We have had a wonderful seven years. We have had 3 beautiful children, have received two Bachelors degrees, one masters and have almost finished medical school. WOW! We are so very blessed with our life and our family. Kelton is my love and it always amazes me how much more I love him every year!

I am...BATMAN

Every Christmas has the toy that is a hit with not only the receiver but the giver and everyone around. This for our family was the 4 ft. spread batman wings. As Christmas grew nearer Keston started asking for batman wings and it came to the point when that was all he talked about. OK so no biggie I have seen them everywhere I will just go to Walmart and get a pair. Easier said than done. No one had any left. As we panickingly searched nothing was our result. We had family members checking online while we shopped and it seriously got depressing. When I thought, you know I am just going to check one more time. So I bent down level with the bottom shelf and dug behind some other toys and...BATMAN WINGS!!! It was amazing and sad because I am sure someone hid them there but I needed them. So we bought them and felt the Christmas spirit radiating from us as we walked out of the store. Keston was so thrilled to receive them he wore them the whole trip and showed everyone who came over.
